OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Chris Yates, our Managing Director has worked in the supported living sector for over 19 years and started Serveco in 2002 because he was frustrated by the inadequate, unprofessional and inconsistent service offered by traditional security companies and staffing agencies. With a passion for service delivery and personal development, Chris oversees all aspects of recruitment and training, his greatest talent is in identifying potential new talented, dedicated and professional staff, and loves nothing more than witnessing them flourish in their new career.
Paul Jevons joined Serveco in 2014 as a Night Support Worker but was quickly identified by Chris as a natural leader with a genuine desire to support and develop people, our own staff and the vulnerable people he worked with at our client’s projects. Paul quickly progressed to Area Manager covering the south east region, our busiest region! Paul is a self-proclaimed “wizard” on Inform and quite often helps train our clients on the best use of inform as well providing Inform training to our own staff, so they are equipped to offer our clients continuity with report writing, client alerts and raising safeguarding issues amongst other things.
Donna Palmer worked the health and social care sector for over ten years in management, training and safeguarding. Donna Joined Serveco as she shares many of the same values as Chris and wanted to work with a company that genuinely put safeguarding and staff development first. Donna provides all our internal safeguarding, and first aid training as well as ensuring quality assurances documents and procedures are up to date.
Sally Oswin takes care of all things HR with the help of Steve Husband in our Nottinghamshire office, Sally is a HR professional with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Sally is keen on personal development and is currently progressing with her CIPD training.
Steve Husband, our office manager, deals primarily with account management, recruitment and overseeing all things HR, Steve also runs our support office in Nottinghamshire assisting our operational staff with all admin requirements. Steve works closely with Chris. Outside of work, Steve is an accomplished pool player who is currently the singles champion in the North Nottinghamshire area.
Danilo Luongo Joined Serveco in 2015 as a Night Support Worker, since day one Danilo has always shown an eagerness to learn and help others in their own personal development. This quality hasn't gone unnoticed and as a testament to his hard work, in 2019 he became the manager of the Thanet Winter Shelter working with the Salvation Army and Thanet District Council, Danilo is also instrumental to the RISE team (Rough Sleeper Intervention, support and empowerment) in Thanet. Danilo is a rising star and definitely one to watch for future promotions.
Our Front-Line Staff the most important people in any organisation, nowhere more so than at Serveco. There are far too many to mention them all individually, but you can be assured they are the heart beat and life line at Serveco. We are so lucky to have such dedicated colleagues who all have individual skills and talents that come together to offer our clients a service that is industry leading.
