Personalised care at Serveco

24/7 Live-In Care (Regulated) is a personalised care service where a trained and fully regulated care professional lives in the home of the person receiving support, providing continuous assistance around the clock. This service is particularly suited for individuals with complex or high-level care needs who require constant supervision, support with personal care, or help with managing medical conditions.

Being a regulated service means that the care provided meets the standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This ensures that the quality, safety, and effectiveness of the care are independently monitored, giving peace of mind to both the individual and their families.

Key features of our service

Living independently and safely in your own home allows you to remain surrounded by your personal belongings, maintain your established routines, and enjoy regular contact with family and friends. This promotes both comfort and a sense of continuity in daily life.

Receiving personalised care at home supports and enhances health and wellbeing by alleviating the stress and worry often associated with maintaining independence on your own. Around-the-clock companionship and support from a dedicated carer helps to reduce feelings of loneliness, vulnerability, and insecurity that can arise when living alone.

Home-based care provides peace of mind for both the individual receiving support and their family, ensuring reassurance that needs are being met in a safe and compassionate way. It also allows you to remain close to loved ones, including cherished pets, while enjoying a familiar and comfortable environment surrounded by treasured possessions.

Importantly, this approach enables you to continue your preferred lifestyle, including hobbies, social activities, and holidays, without compromise. At the same time, it relieves family and friends of the pressures and responsibilities that can arise if they were providing full-time care, helping to protect their wellbeing and maintain positive relationships.

Support in homes

It provides continuous, personalised support to individuals in their own homes, ensuring safety, wellbeing, and independence. Their role is tailored to each person’s unique needs and can cover a wide range of care and support tasks.

Assistance

Live-in carers assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating. They support mobility, help with transfers from beds or chairs, and ensure safe use of mobility aids. They may also administer medication, monitor health conditions, and provide care aligned with medical guidance.

Emotional support

Beyond physical care, live-in carers offer emotional support and companionship, helping to reduce loneliness and promote mental wellbeing. They can accompany individuals to medical appointments, social activities, or community events, and support hobbies and daily routines, maintaining a sense of normality and independence.

Quality standard of care

Being regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) ensures that live-in carers meet strict standards of safety, quality, and professionalism. They work according to individually tailored care plans, with their performance monitored to maintain high standards of care.

Initial Enquiry. As soon as we receive your enquiry, a member of our team will contact you promptly to discuss your needs. We will answer any questions you may have about our services and provide clear information about live-in care and how it can support you.

Comprehensive Care Assessment. Following an initial meeting, Serveco Limited will complete a detailed assessment of your needs. During this process, we will discuss the level of care required, explain the costs involved, and agree on the most suitable approach. Once this is in place, we will provide a profile of a recommended carer. If you are happy with the proposed match, we can arrange a Team meeting so that you can ask questions and get to know the carer before care begins.

Meeting Your Carer. All of our Staff are employed, trained, and managed directly by Serveco Limited, giving you complete peace of mind. You do not need to worry about recruitment, insurance, or administration, as we handle everything on your behalf. This ensures consistency, safety, and a high standard of care at all times.

Starting Your Live-In Care. The final step involves confirming all arrangements, including the agreed start date. Once care begins, you will have access to our system, which provides real-time updates on your care records. This allows family members or loved ones, with your permission, to stay informed and reassured. Your care package is further supported by our dedicated on-call team, who are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to provide ongoing guidance and support.

Residential care homes are not the only option when full-time support is required. Serveco Limited provides award-winning 24/7 live-in care in the comfort of your own home, allowing individuals to remain surrounded by familiar surroundings and treasured memories. We offer tailored care packages and a free assessment to help you understand the costs and find the right level of support.

When families recognise that a loved one requires round-the-clock care, the traditional option has often been a residential care home. However, as the majority of people wish to remain in their own homes, live-in care has become an increasingly preferred alternative, offering personalised support while maintaining independence. Serveco Limited is proud to deliver 24/7 live-in care services that prioritise quality of life, dignity, and wellbeing for every individual we support.
