Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement innovative digital marketing strategies that align with our mission and business goals.
  • Oversee and ensure brand consistency across all digital channels, from the website to social media, showcasing our commitment to the homeless sector.
  • Dive into market research, leveraging insights to fortify our market presence and stay ahead of trends in the dynamic field of homeless services.
  • Create compelling written, graphic, and video content that not only captivates our audience but also communicates the importance of the services we offer.
  • Manage website content, employing SEO strategies to boost traffic and engagement, ensuring our message reaches those who need it most.
  • Analyze, report, and adjust digital marketing campaigns for optimal performance, contributing to the broader efforts addressing homelessness in the UK.
  • Elevate our social media presence to increase visibility and foster customer engagement, amplifying the impact of our services.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience, ensuring our outreach is effective and accessible.
  • Bring fresh perspectives by innovating and presenting new marketing platforms and strategies, contributing to the ongoing evolution of our approach.
  • Understand the current homeless situation in the UK and align marketing strategies to address the unique challenges faced in this sector.
  • Integrate facts about the homeless sector and the current situation in the UK into our marketing content, fostering awareness and understanding.
  • Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers
  • Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, monthly magazine or regular email bulletin. You may also be required to work on the layout of content
  • Storyboard or translate ideas to the creative team of art directors and designers
  • Manage an internal communications officer or whole team
  • Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organisation
  • Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages
  • Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly
  • Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation
  • Advise senior executives of developments throughout the organisation, either face to face or through regular written communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Proven track record as a Digital Marketing Strategist or Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and CRM software.
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
  • Exceptional analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to independently juggle multiple projects.

Compensation:

Starting Salary of £34,000 (Pro Rota)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Graduate

Salary: From £16.30 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
